Cream raised bowl on a light blue stand with a stainless steel insert full of kibble.
  • Raised and slanted, so dinner comes up off the floor and gathers on one side.
  • Wide opening that leaves room for a Frenchie’s whole face.
  • Steel insert lifts out, and the bowl lifts off the stand, so rinsing is quick.
  • Same bowl for puppy and adult, no size to choose.

Dinner on the floor is a chase

Watch him at mealtime. Front feet planted, head low, nose pushing kibble to the edge of a flat bowl.

Then the bowl slides into the wall and he starts over. Most of dinner ends up in the corner, not in him.

A Frenchie eats with his whole body. He leans in, pushes, and follows the bowl across the kitchen. A flat dish on slick tiles gives him nothing to work with.

A bowl that lifts and tilts

This bowl sits up on a stand and leans at an angle. The food settles on the low side, and you turn that side toward him.

You see it at the first meal: one pile instead of a scatter. The opening is wide, so his short muzzle fits in without the rim pressing on his face.

It is a simple fix. No ridges, no gadgets, just a dish at a better height and angle for the way he eats.

What you get

A round bowl, a stand and a stainless steel insert. The bowl lifts off the stand, the insert lifts out of the bowl, and nothing is stuck in a corner.

Rinse the insert under warm water right after dinner, before the food dries. A dark pad under the base helps it grip. On tile or hardwood, add a rubber rug pad underneath.

Who it suits, and who it does not

It suits the Frenchie who chases kibble around a flat bowl and pushes it across the room. It suits a puppy too, because the same bowl works from the first week.

It is a low raise, not a chest-high feeder. He still lowers his head, only less than he would to the floor.

It will not slow down a dog who gulps, because there are no ridges inside. And if your dog shoves the bowl and flips it, a heavy ceramic bowl is the better pick.

Try it, then decide

A new bowl gets sniffed, pawed and circled. Put it where the old one stood, use the same food, and give him a few days.

If you feed big portions, pour half, let him finish, then pour the rest. The bowl is wide, but it is not deep.

Pick it up when dinner on the floor is the problem. Check the table for the measures, add it to your cart, and if it does not work out, our happiness guarantee covers it.

Frequently asked

What is an elevated tilted bowl for a French Bulldog?
A bowl lifted off the floor and set at a slant. The food settles on one side, and you turn that side toward him. A steel insert lifts out for rinsing.
Is it high enough for an adult Frenchie?
It is a low raise. It lifts and tilts the dish, but it does not bring it to chest height. For that you need an adjustable stand.
Will it slide or tip when he pushes it?
It can. The base is narrower than the opening. Put a rubber rug pad under it on tile or hardwood, or set it in a corner. A dog who flips bowls needs a heavier one.
How do I clean it?
Lift the bowl off the stand, then lift the insert out. Rinse each part in warm water right after the meal and let everything dry before you stack it again.
Will it slow down a dog who eats too fast?
No. The inside is smooth, so it lifts and tilts but does not slow him. For a fast eater, choose a bowl with ridges built for that.
